Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to publicize next month's heavyweight fight.
Former two-time unified heavyweight champion Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge disparity - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Boxer's Mindset
"I will damage his features and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will seriously aim to hurt him. That's my intention."
Civil Exchange
Despite those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually known for his dramatics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul rather targeted ex Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after Ngannou rejected a bout proposal.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, at the same time, targeted UK rival Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he's present here," the boxer said.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
Despite declaring he will damage his opponent, Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
However, the relative newcomer continues to be one of the sport's biggest financial successes, frequently receiving huge financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old anticipated a knockout win in round four or five and claimed he would stop the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly under discussion for 2026.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.
Size Disparity
As both boxers engaged in the usual face-off, with their size difference on show, it emphasized just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the match is truly proceeding.
